Man, #AustinSt in #ForestHills is way overdue for bike parking. #BikeNYC

Blue mid tail bicycle (yuba kombi) locked to scaffolding on a sidewalk. The scaffolding divides the sidewalk by 1/3rd, and the bike blocks access to that side. There are lots of people on the (too small) sidewalk, walking in both directions.

One of my favorite venues and I love to see this. They provide a free shuttle with 15 minute headways that picks you up at the subway/transit stops. They're using the converted parking to provide more space for buses and shuttles and (unfortunately) rideshare but still happy to see it.

News alert from the Los Angeles Times saying that Hollywood Bowl parking is about to get harder because they're closing half the parking lots.
